How do I nominate paper titles?

Lodging parties in possession of paper certificates of title supporting a SPEAR ELN lodgment must nominate the titles before submitting for pre-lodgment check. Paper titles can be nominated in one of two ways.

01

Convert and nominate electronically

SPEAR ELN Subscribers can convert a paper certificate of title (pCT) to an electronic certificate of title (eCT) by submitting the Application to convert a paper Certificate of Title to an electronic Certificate of Title (CPCT) form by email to nqivpr.radhvevrf@freivpgbevn.pbz.nh

NOTE: Please ensure your customer code is eligible to hold an eCT when completing the form.

Land Use Victoria will notify the SPEAR ELN Subscriber when the conversion is complete. If the lodging party controls the eCT, there is no longer a requirement to nominate the title for an electronic lodgment.

In this case, the paper title is not required to be physically provided to Land Use Victoria and must be invalidated and/or destroyed.

02

Nominate physically in paper

Alternatively, lodging parties can nominate a paper certificate of title using the paper Application to nominate a paper Certificate of Title to a paper instrument or electronic lodgment case (NPTLA) form.

In this case, the paper title is required to be physically provided to Land Use Victoria with the nomination form.

For more information on converting and nominating certificates of title, and to download the relevant forms, see Title Management.
