Validation Rules for Adding Multiple Textual Parcels

General Validations Rule Description The Start and End fields together must represent an incremental sequence (for example, 2A-5A is valid; 2A-5B is invalid). Start and End fields that begin with an alpha character may contain the numeral 0 after the letter. Start and End fields cannot contain special characters, punctuation marks (including full stops). Leading and trailing spaces entered in the Start and End fields are automatically trimmed. Start and End fields cannot begin with the letter O or with leading zeros. The Start field cannot be blank. The End field may be blank - this allows a single SPI to be generated for that row within the Add Multiple function, consisting only of the Start field value. Start and End fields cannot contain spaces between characters (for example, "1 A"). Start and End fields cannot contain decimals. Start and End fields cannot contain negative numeric values (for example, "-2B").
Lot-Specific Validations Rule Description Start field: May consist of: Alpha characters followed by numerals Numerals followed by alpha characters (for example, 1A) Valid incremental alphanumeric combinations (for example, G06A, C1G1, 1E22). Start range can not have the prefix of A, E, R, S, CM, RES, LOT followed by a numeric. Start values that begin with an alpha character can contain the numeral '0' after the letter. End field: May consist of alpha characters followed by numerals, or numerals followed by alpha characters (for example, 1A). Must not begin with the prefixes A, E, R, S, CM, RES or LOT followed by a numeric. May contain the numeral 0 after a leading alpha character. Start and End field values cannot be repeated for the same Class. Start and End field values cannot overlap for the same Class.
Common Property / Reserve-Specific Validations Rule Description Start: Must contain only numerals. End: Must contain only numerals. Start and End field values cannot be repeated for the same Class. Start and End field values cannot overlap for the same Class.
Road-Specific Validations Rule Description Start: Must contain prefix R followed by numerals. End: Must contain prefix R followed by numerals. Start and End field values cannot be repeated for the same Class. Start and End field values cannot overlap for the same Class.
Stage Lot-Specific Validations Rule Description Start: Must contain prefix S followed by numerals. End: Must contain prefix S followed by numerals. Start and End field values cannot be repeated for the same Class. Start and End field values cannot overlap for the same Class.
