VR501 - Arc Radius

Example Messages

  • Arc radius in parcel 241\LP73759 doesn't match arc radius in reduced observation OBS-13.

Rule Description

  • The arc that is represented in the parcel must have the same radius in the reduced arc observation.

VR502 - Direction of Chord Bearing

Example Messages

  • Direction of chord bearing in parcel 241\LP73759 doesn't match direction of chord bearing in reduced observation OBS-13.

Rule Description

  • The rotation direction of an arc (clockwise/anti-clockwise) that is represented in the parcel must match the rotation direction of the arc (clockwise/anti-clockwise) in the reduced observation.

VR503 - Connected Line

Example Messages

  • One or more lines are not connected in the survey.

Rule Description

  • All points and lines in the plan and survey must be connected.

VR505 - Line Observation

Example Messages

  • Observation is used in more than 2 created parcels

Rule Description

  • Currently, ePlan only permits a boundary line to be shared by two adjoining created parcels. Additional boundaries (e.g. height restricted boundaries separated by level) are not able to be created.

VR509 - Parcel Arc radius

Example Messages

  • Arc radius in parcel 1\PS810715 doesn't match arc radius in another parcel CM1\PS810715 for the arc between points CGPNT-427 and CGPNT-428."

Rule Description

  • The radius of an arc between points shared by 2 parcels must be the same.

VR510 - Plan Misclose

Example Messages

  • Loop 1 has a misclosure of 263°53'35" 0.705m (likely lines for error:'[OBS-1, OBS-2]').

Rule Description

  • Plan misclosure must be reduced to within allowable tolerances. Note that misclosure checking is not restricted to parcel boundaries only, and that all calculable closure must meet allowable tolerances. Allowable tolerance 0.015m + distance x 100ppm (parts per million)

VR511 - Parcel Arc Centre

Example Messages

  • For line ('CGPNT-427', 'CGPNT-428'), arc centre CGPNT-414 in parcel 1\PS810715 doesn't match the arc centre CGPNT-451 in parcel CM1\PS810715.

Rule Description

  • The centre point of an arc shared by 2 parcels must be the same in both parcels.

VR512 - Parcel Arc Centre Point Type

Example Messages

  • Centre point CGPNT-414 of a parcel arc 1\PS810715 is not a sideshot.

Rule Description

  • The arc centre cgpoint of a parcel cannot be computed, but must be measured by survey.

VR513 - Parcel Direction of Chord Bearing

Example Messages

  • Direction of chord bearing in parcel 1\PS810715 doesn't match direction of chord bearing in another parcel CM1\PS810715 for the arc between points CGPNT-427 and CGPNT-428.

Rule Description

  • The rotation direction of an arc (clockwise/anti-clockwise) between points shared by 2 parcels must be the same.

VR515 - Overlapping Created Parcel

Example Messages

  • Parcel 1\PS810715 overlaps parcel 2\PS810715.

Rule Description

  • Created parcels cannot overlap in the LandXML document. Allowable tolerance 0.1 square metres
