Select ePlan

The Select ePlan screen allows users to add ePlans from the ePlan Portal to a SPEAR application. This is the only way to attach ePlans to SPEAR. If a user hasn't created an ePlan within the ePlan Portal yet, they can access the ePlan Portal by clicking the icon located in the top right of the Application List screen.

Attaching an ePlan to a new SPEAR application

By default, when the Select ePlan screen loads the user will see all of their organisation's ePlans which have not yet been attached to a SPEAR application.

Once the ePlan is selected, it will be added to the draft SPEAR application and will prepopulate the Create Application form with a number of details which are extracted from the ePlan data.

Modifying an ePlan in an existing SPEAR application

If the user is not seeing the expected results, this could be because:

If a newer ePlan version has not yet been created:

  1. Change the Display filter to 'All ePlans' to reveal the latest ePlan attached to that SPEAR application.
  2. Click the ePlan Portal link to make the required changes to the ePlan.
  3. From the ePlan Portal, click 'Return to SPEAR' to review options from the Select ePlan screen.
  4. The newly amended ePlan will be displayed and can be added to the SPEAR application using the 'select' button.

Search

Use the Search box to search applications by Applicant reference number, Plan Number or SPEAR reference number. Press 'enter' or use the magnifying glass to execute the search.

'Display' filter

'Standalone ePlans only'
Only display ePlans which are not yet attached to a SPEAR application. This includes new ePlans which are yet to be used to create/modify new or existing SPEAR applications.

'All ePlans'
Display all ePlans, including those already attached to SPEAR applications. If an ePlan is already attached to a SPEAR application, the 'select' button will be disabled.

'Only display Latest Versions' filter

Column Sorting

All columns can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking on the respective column heading.
