VR053 - Restriction Benefit and Burden
Example Messages
- Restriction "RST1\PS123456" does not define the benefiting parties.
- Restriction "RST1\PS123456" does not define the burdening parties
- Restriction "RST1\PS123456" is defined as burdening only one party "1\PS123456". That party cannot be one of the benefiting parties "2\PS123456".
- Restriction "RST1\PS123456" burdens multiple parties "1\PS123456", "2\PS123456", "3\PS123456" and there is only one benefiting party "1\PS123456". The benefiting party cannot be one of the burdened parties.
Rule Description
- Restriction parcels must define benefiting and burdening parties.
- If a restriction only burdens one lot, that lot cannot be a beneficiary.
- If a restriction burdens multiple lots and there is only one benefiting lot. It cannot be one of the burdened lots.

VR090 - Restriction Parcel Description Exists
Example Messages
- Restriction parcel "RST1\PS123456" does not specify a description.
Rule Description
Restriction parcels must have a non-blank description. Rule is not applicable if plan does not have any restrictions. It also does not apply to Part Restrictions.

VR084 - Restriction Fixing
Example Messages
Restriction "RST1\PS123456" has not been fixed to title boundaries appropriately.
Restriction fixing can be done by one of the following means:
- Connection to a point in the primary subject parcel
- Abut at least one primary subject parcel
- Fix to the corner of a primary subject parcel
- Fix to a primary subject parcel using at least 2 offsets
- Share a corner or boundary with another existing restriction that is connected via one of the above methods
Rule Description
Created and affected restrictions must be fixed to primary parcel boundaries. Rule does not apply plans without restrictions or restrictions without geometry.
