Example Messages
- The plan does not have a Local Government Area specified.
- The plan does not have a Parish specified.
Rule Description
- A subdivision plan must have at least one Local Government Area (LGA) specified.
- A subdivision plan must have at least one parish specified.

VR036 - Admin Area in Vicmap Admin
Example Messages
- LGA "STARHURST" with code "306" is different to Vicmap Admin which specifies it as "BAYSIDE CITY".
Rule Description
Each LGA, Parish and Township (if specified) must exist in Vicmap Admin at the time of validation.

Example Messages
- Spatial extent provided for administrative area "LGA-336" will not be taken into consideration for validation or update purposes.
Rule Description
If spatial extent of administrative area parcels is provided, return a warning and advise that it will not be used for validation or update purposes.

VR040 - Address in Vicmap Address
Example Messages
- Lot "1\PS123456" with address "270 Bourke St, Melbourne" is different to Vicmap Address which specifies it as "570 Bourke St, Melbourne".
Rule Description
All addresses associated with parcels must match the same parcel's address in Vicmap Address.

VR041 - Title Reference in VOTS
Example Messages
- Title "101/360" for lot "1\PS123456" does not exist in VOTS.
- Title "101/360" for lot "1\PS123456" does not match VOTS. The title for lot "1\PS123456" is "2344/120" in VOTS.
- Additional title(s) are assigned to parcel 2/PS123456A in VOTS but they are not in the ePlan.
Rule Description
- The combination of parcel SPI and volume/folio in ePlan must match VOTS.
- All of the volume/folios returned by VOTS must be in the ePlan.

VR039 - Extinguished Lot and Admin Area Consistency
Example Messages
- LGA name "BAW BAW SHIRE" with code "305" specified for the extinguished/affected/existing parcel(s) "6~25\PP3473B" is different to the LGA name "GREATER BENDIGO CITY" with code "325" in Vicmap Admin.
- Parish name "DROUIN WEST" with code "2548" specified for the extinguished/affected parcel(s) "6~25\PP3473B" was not identified by Vicmap Admin.
- Parish name "DROUIN EAST" with code "2547" was not specified in the ePlan but was identified by Vicmap Admin as applicable for this plan.
Rule Description
The LGA, Parish, and Township names and codes specified in the plan must match the extinguished/affected parcel's LGA, Parish, and Township names and codes in Vicmap Admin.
Boundary Plans should use the points from existing lots/stage lots parcels when querying Vicmap.

VR115 - Previous Survey of Non-survey Plans
Example Messages
- The previous plan "PS408798" with volume/folio of "10400/677" has a survey type of "non-survey" which is not consistent with the expected type of "surveyed".
- The previous plan "PS408798" with volume/folio of "10400/677" is not an ePlan in SPEAR, a manual check is required.
Rule Description
Parent parcel for non-survey plans must be based on survey.
- Scenario 1: If previous survey is an existing ePlan in SPEAR then test parent parcel and if it fails, fail with error.
- Scenario 2: If previous survey is not an existing ePlan in SPEAR then flag that we are unable to check the parent parcel.
Rule does not apply to non-survey plans.
