It is important that accurate, clear and concise details of the land are provided for your application.
Users will be presented with different screens depending on their selected processing preference (see User Settings - 'Prefer to process Subdivision application' indicator). Applicants with subdivision as their preference can choose from any of fields described below. Applicants processing planning applications will not be presented with the option to enter a Volume and Folio.
You will be required to complete only one of the following fields:
The number allocated to a parcel of land created on a plan of subdivision or other registered plan, e.g. Lot 1 PS306248.
A Volume and Folio (Vol/Fol) number is the title reference number, which is generated by Land Use Victoria when a title is first created.
This is the address where the land is located. However, sometimes it does not provide an accurate identification of the relevant parcel of land relating to an application.
These details may be found:
- On the Copy of Title
- Searching Parish Plan records
- By searching via the interactive map at Land Channel under the section "Crown Description"
The Title contains the following information:
NOTE: If you are creating a Notice of Re-Establishment, you will be required to browse for and attach the record of having re-established a parcel (PDF) and enter the surveyor’s reference number from this screen.
