Prior to using SPEAR there are a number of steps new users need to complete. Prospective users need to register, complete forms, read documents and participate in training sessions.
Planning Applicant
Individual users should register online at: http://www.spear.land.vic.gov.au/spear/registration/AccessAgreement.do
If you are a solicitor, conveyancer, bank, property developer/owner wishing to check the status of an existing SPEAR application or view application documentation, then please do not self register. Contact the SPEAR Service Desk on (03) 8636 3049.
If you are a Licensed Surveyor or would like to register a surveying firm to use SPEAR, please contact the SPEAR Service Desk or send an email to fcrne.vasb@qfr.ivp.tbi.nh

The agreement should be signed by a person with the appropriate delegation in your organisation. Two signed copies together with the registration form should be mailed to:

Training is essential for all new SPEAR users. The SPEAR team provides training either on-site at your office or at Level 16, 570 Bourke Street Melbourne.
In addition to on-site training for new organisations (users), SPEAR offers quarterly training sessions to all users – applicant organisations, Responsible Authorities (councils) and Referral Authorities. All sessions are held at 570 Bourke Street Melbourne. These sessions are for new users and existing users wishing to refresh their knowledge of SPEAR.
