SPEAR produces two main publications, SPEAR News and SPEAR Bulletin. SPEAR News is a regular newsletter for key stakeholders providing information on the progress of SPEAR and associated projects. SPEAR Bulletin, is a quarterly publication providing users handy hints on particular functions of the system.
Forums are conducted throughout Victoria, promoting SPEAR to key stakeholder groups – applicants (surveyors and planners), Responsible Authorities (councils) and Referral Authorities and providing information on related projects.
SPEAR conducts User Group Meetings in both metropolitan and regional centres twice a year in line with planned system releases. All users are encouraged to attend these meetings to learn about the changes planned in the next scheduled release, contribute in discussions regarding potential enhancements to SPEAR and as an opportunity to network with other users.
