Approve/Refuse application

The Transport Survey Plan Authority will have the ability to approve or reject a Transport Survey Plan. by Surveyor General Victoria. Once this action is authenticated, the application will move to the 'Completed Applications' list in SPEAR and the Applicant Contact will be notified of the decision.

If the application is to be refused, a reason must be provided. If required, the Transport Survey Plan Authority can re-open the application at any time.

Steps

1. Click on the mandatory action 'Perform Application Approval / Refusal' from the Details screen.
2. Select the radio button to approve or refuse the application and click the 'ok' button. If rejecting the application, you will need to add a rejection reason by attaching a PDF or typing directly into the text box and click the 'add now' button.

After returning to the Details screen, the decision will need to be digitally signed by the Transport Survey Plan Authority Proper Officer.
